Connected Accounts

For users on iOS running app version 3.3 or later any external bank accounts which have been linked to your Chime account will now appear in a widget on the homepage of the app. From here you can initiate transfers between your accounts.

Currently you can connect any of the following banks: Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, US Bank, USAA, Fidelity, PNC Bank, Capital One 360, TD Bank, SunTrust, Navy Federal & Charles Schwab.

The following banks balances will be displayed directly through the Chime app if the account was linked after the release of version app version 3.0 (Jan 16) : BB&T, BofA, Chase, Citi, Navy Federal CU, Suntrust, TD Bank, US Bank, USAA, Wells Fargo.

Why can't I see my balance on my connected account?

If you connected an account before January 2016, you will not be able to see the balance of that account in the home screen linked accounts widget. In order to see the balance, please delete and relink the account.

To delete your linked account on from your Chime online account, click on your name in the upper right hand corner and select Settings. Scroll down to see the list of accounts - just select the account you want to delete to expose the Unlink button, and select it. From the mobile apps, select Settings (the gear icon in the upper left hand corner if you have an iPhone, or the option in the side menu if you have an Android) and then "swipe left" on the account you want to delete to expose the Delete button, and select it.

To re-add your account, simply visit the transfers screen via the shortcuts or Move Money sections of the app. From here click on your Spending Account and you will be presented with the option to link another bank account by entering login details as mentioned above.
